Gugger Petter created a portrait of Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and donated it to the Museum of National History that is located in Fredricksborg Castle outside of Copenhagen, the "Versailles of Scandinavia.” The museum also borrowed Gugger's portrait of President Obama that was commissioned from her in 2007 by one of Obama's benefactors and was hung in his campaign headquarters in Chicago during the 2008 Presidential campaign. For the past 2+ years, Gugger's Obama portrait has been on loan to the Danish Embassy in Washington, DC and several prominent people have had their photo taken with it. The unveiling of the portrait of the portrait was done by Crown Princess Mary.  The event was attended by several members of the world press and European television.
